Claremont is a high-country sheep station, located just 45 minutes from Christchurch airport, set on the spectacular Waipara Gorge, within an area of outstanding natural beauty and close to Waipara wineries. Guests are welcomed by owner-hosts and enjoy two elegantly furnished guest lounges, shady vine clad verandas, stone-walled terraces and beautiful gardens. Dine on flavour filled dishes using the finest ingredients - fresh salmon, home-produced lamb or venison, garden-fresh vegetables, organic fruit from Claremont’s orchard or other local produce, complemented by fine Waipara wines.
