Separate and private from the main lodge, the graciously appointed ocean view suites are set in landscaped grounds. French doors open onto private verandahs and sun-soaked courtyards, providing you a quiet haven with panoramic views of the Hauraki Gulf, pristine Tryphena beaches and the Earthsong olive grove. Thick adobe-style walls and hand-crafted furnishings create an elegant, timeless atmosphere of permanence.

Finding your way

This virtually undiscovered paradise is easily accessible by scheduled 30 minute flights across the majestic waters of the Hauraki Gulf from Auckland with breathtaking views of the Coromandel Peninsula and outer Gulf islands. Earthsong Lodge provides courtesy transfers from the island airport. Private helicopter charters are available to the Earthsong helipad for direct access.

Local Attractions

The essence of nature is captured on Great Barrier Island. Lush subtropical forests, dramatic landscapes, and white sandy beaches take your breath away. A highlight is to hike the groomed forest trails and soak in natural thermal springs. New Zealand’s best island wilderness will soothe the spirit and challenge the adventurous.
