Remarkables Lodge

In a stunning rural setting at the base of the Remarkables Mountains, with uninterrupted views, this delightful owner-managed country estate luxury lodge has a great location and a warm and welcoming style.

Luxurious bedrooms, stylish bathrooms and spacious seating areas create a comfortable relaxing environment where you'll feel totally at home, and completely spoiled - dip into the cookie jar and find it inexplicably replenished with homemade biscuits. Luxuriate in a bath filled with water from our mountain waterfall. After dinner slip between crisp cotton sheets and gaze up at the star studded southern hemisphere sky as the moon rises over the mountains.

A warm welcome, impeccable service and a relaxing environment convey the essence of the lodge, endowed with a spacious lounge and a bar and snooker room. Our resident chef crafts delectable cuisine using locally sourced fresh produce, served with our world famous local wines. Remarkables Lodge has small luxury hotel facilities, but with an intimate and hospitable ambience, epitomising the pure New Zealand Lodge experience.

Accommodation

Fourteen guests accommodated in three Premier Rooms with balconies and three Lodge Rooms upstairs in the main house, plus a detached Garden Suite.

Local Attractions

Adjacent to Jack's Point Golf Course, close to the wineries, fly fishing, lake cruises, and adventure activities. The lodge’s helipad facilitates heli-sightseeing to Milford Sound or heli-hiking, heli-skiing, flyfishing and glacier walks.

Finding Your Way

The lodge is on SH6 heading south to Te Anau/Milford Sound, five minutes from Queenstown airport and ten minutes from Queenstown centre on the sunny side of Lake Wakatipu.
