Oktoberfest Wanaka

Come and join us for Wanaka’s first ever Oktoberfest on the 11th September 2010.

Enjoy German beers and a wonderfully authentic Bavarian feast with all thee trimmings, The Stein band will play traditional Oompah music and from your seats on original trestle benches from Germany you can experience the feeling of “schunkeln” (which translates as swaying whilst sitting close to each other).

With three delicious Bavarian dishes to choose from and the best German beers it promises to be a fantastic evening out. Even the serving staff will be decked out in Bavarian costumes, the traditional “dirndls”.

Enjoy a real Bavarian atmosphere in Wanaka after a days skiing on our wonderful slopes.
